You are a definition of liberation

South Africa has recently faced credit ratings that landed it on junk status. Our government has committed to a lot of basic services provision especially to the poor but the government will have less money to spend on basic services. Taxes will go up! Inflation will go up! Interest rates will go up! A catastrophe! No Uhuru! So credit card and car loan owners will continue to pay more on credit than they would have if we had a stable economy.

I want you for a second think where does this leave you as a citizen? The keywords here are: poor, credit and lack.

We liberate our creative thoughts when we think outside these confinements. Think beyond the economic climate. As citizens, it your responsibility & mine to change circumstances around us. I'm not saying you are going to change the effects and remnants of economic and political climates and make them look like they never existed. Your calibrated mindset will not act as a detergent to wipe out the stains left by these dents. But investing your time on life constructing issues is certainly the first step towards liberation. We do not only fall victims of what the system make us gobble when we are not liberated. Liberation is doing what other people are not doing. It is choosing to write your own story while everyone else reads other people's stories. It is composing your own tune while everyone else is dancing to existing melodies. It is documenting your own documentary! Making your own story. Your own legacy! It serves you no justice to just sit and watch unfavourable climates brought by what our country or even the world suffers. The keywords (poor, lack, credit) I mentioned earlier are not only monetary. But they are psychological. It is possible to be poor in mind and thoughts especially when you let what happens around you hold custody of what your mind is capable of achieving. Do you want to be among the statistical figures of citizens who failed to escape hardships brought by the 'junk status' of the country or you want to be that one citizen who refused to be excluded from making change.

I'm just reminding you of the dynamics around you that, maybe, who knows they are counting on you to show you the GAME OVER card. What if the political, social, economic etc. are just 'conspiring' to knock you over? What if they want to eliminate you from life? 

I challenge you to search that which nobody is currently doing. And start doing it! Exert the same force in the opposite direction to these climates we live under. Start creating a legacy for yourself.
