Let Your Money Work For You
With the Unemployment rate still being at such a high it tends to be difficult to save and invest. We look at ways to better yourself and empowering yourself through financial independence.
With the high levels of equality in South Africa and Fort Beaufort we have to make financial changes to secure a better future not only for ourselves but for out children.
We look at ideas as to how you can gain Financial Independence.
1. Keep a close eye on debt
It is important to remember that your debt don’t get to a point where it becomes overwhelming and results in bad credit record. Always try and keep debt at a minimum and always make monthly payments to retail accounts.
2. Separate money and Love
Be proactive in protecting your money when in a relationship and always maintain independence when in a relationship. It is always safer to have or earn your own money.
3. Plan for retirement
Plan well ahead and always stay in contact with your financial planner or advisor. Make sure you make the necessary monthly payments to your retirement plans.
4. Invest in yourself
Invest in developing yourself, by furthering your education and learning new skills. Use opportunities at work to further yourself in your field.
Be proactive and gain financial independence, nobody will do it for you only you can. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are in your journey, it is never too late to begin.
