Drug Bust Newtown House Raided (updated)

On Friday evening a house in Marigold street was raided by the Police after a tip off.

Amanda Klaasen and father David Crawford was arrested and charged with possession and dealing with Mandrax. The Police confiscated 164 Mandrax pills, 13 halves, 17 quarters and 5 arms of dagga. 

Amanda Klaasen was arrested last year on the same charge and was released on a R1000 bail. She will be appearing in court on the 8th of March for her pre trial hearing.

The 2 accused are in custody until their bail hearing on the 13th March 2017.
